Cow Creek Field is located in the Atlantic Rim Coalbed Methane Play along the eastern margin of the Washakie Basin. Gas is produced from sub-bituminous A to high-vol C bituminous coals of the Almond and Allan Ridge formations of the Mesa Verde Group at depths from 500 to 1400 feet. The slide show displays production curves for the field as well as individual wells. It includes additional data such as logs, core photos, structure maps of the field and a Langmuir isotherm of Almond coal.
