This presentation provides a complete overview of County Line Project developing Big George coal in the Fort Union Formation of Converse County Wyoming. The coal in the project area averages 132 feet thick and ranges from 30 with several splits and channels to 209 feet thick with no partings. Desorption of 117 cores averaged 72 scf/ton. Wells took up to 14 months to establish economic production. The seam is characterized by abrupt structural changes of up to 200 feet in one half mile. Partings range to 200 feet within one half mile. The presentation includes structure and thickness isopaches, log cross sections, water and gas production curves, chronological gas analysis, and additional data.
